I was appointed to Emmanuel July 2010, as a Local Pastor.
I am married to Al with three children; all adults, and ten grandchildren. We live in Gibbstown, just a short thirteen miles to the church.
I was born and raised in Swedesboro where I was a member of Bethesda UMC from the cradle roll Dept till marraige. Al was also from Swedesbore.
I graduated from licensing school at Drew U. in 2004 and am still taking classes. Al is retired. We have grandchildren who attended and graduated Pennsgrove schools. We also have relatives from Pennsgrove, so we feel at home.
I received Christ at the ripe old age of twelve.Before my pastorate, I taught Adult Sunday School, held Bible Studies in our home for ten years, performed vocal concerts for local organizations, assisted Al with his drama ministry of Characters in the Bible, and developed a drama ministry out of our home with ages fifteen through adult. We were both certified Lay speakers for the United Methodist Church.
I look forward to the ministries in Emmanuel and pray for you to join us. We often have dramatic portrayals in our services or other interesting styles of bringing the message.
Sunday Service 10:30 AM Wed. Bible Study Wed. 11AM and UMW 2nd and 3rd Tues 7:30 PM will resume in the Fall.
